1958 Herder playoffs
In the 1958 Provincial Senior 'A' Championships the Grand Falls Andcos and Corner Brook Royals faced off in the Herder Memorial Trophy final . All other teams entered the Section 'B' competition for the Evening Telegram Trophy. Grand Falls would win its fourth straight Herder in 5 Games. Charlottetown, PEI-native Orin Carver led the Andcos to the senior “A” title by scoring 10 goals and adding 8 assists in the 5-game final series.

Game 4: Friday, April 11, 1958 - Grand Falls 4 Corner Brook 1 (at Corner Brook's Humber Gardens)
Game 5: Saturday, April 12, 1958 - Corner Brook 3 Grand Falls 9 (at Corner Brook's Humber Gardens)
Grand Falls defeated Corner Brook 4-games-to-1 to win the Herder Memorial Trophy.
